The Twins scored early and often in route to their 13-2 blowout win over the Oakland A's at the Metrodome Tuesday night.  Kevin Slowey threw 7 innings with 5 hits and 1 earned run allowed with 12 strikeouts to get the win and improve to 10-8.  Brian Buscher led the Twins at the plate going 3-4 with a homerun, 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs, Justin Morneau went 3-4 with 3 runs scored and an RBI and Carlos Gomez hit a 2-run homerun.  The Twins improve to 71-54 and remain 1 game back of the White Sox for first place in the American League Central.  Chicago beat Seattle 5-0 Tuesday night.   The Twins host Oakland again today at 12:10, pregame on WJON at 11:40.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (3-3) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander Dallas Braden (3-2) toes the rubber for the A's.
