The Twins have extended the contract of manager Ron Gardenhire through 2011.  Gardenhire and the Twins were 88-75 in 2008 and lost an American League Central Division tie-break game.  Gardenhire has won 4 division titles in 7 seasons as the Twins manager.  Minnesota also re-signed pitching coach Rick Anderson, bench coach Steve Liddle and the rest of Gardenhire's staff.
