Twins catcher Joe Mauer and first baseman Justin Morneau each won their 2nd Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger awards at their respective positions.  Both won this award in 2006.  Major League Baseball coaches and managers vote on the award winners, but are not allowed to vote for players on their own team.
